The Henny Penny Hatching program offers an enchanting experience, bringing the countryside to urban settings. With skilled staff, they deliver an eleven-day incubation program, allowing the children to witness egg hatching and observe chicks in a specially designed setup.
Our children get up-close with hand-raised marsupials, a cheeky feathered friend, and an awesome mix of Australian reptiles. They find out what they eat, where they live, how they survive in their natural habitats and more.
Dr Bethany's tooth tales incursions are enjoyable and educational, encouraging dental hygiene to be fun, rather than a chore, and are aligned with Early Years Learning Framework.
Our local Librarian comes to visit for a session of reading to the children. She sings songs that accompany the book she reads and also brings activities and craft for the children, which they absolutely love!
We celebrate many special occasions throughout the year with Mothers Day, Fathers Day or Special Persons Day being a highlight. We celebrate Harmony Day and have a Cultural Day where we talk about what country we are all from.
At the start of each year, we host a BBQ to welcome all the new families which is a lovely way to connect with other families. We also have great support from local businesses with donations and sponsorship.
Our Christmas Parties are a wonderful family event. We reserve and exclusive area at the Diamond Valley Miniature Railway for the afternoon. Families come and enjoy activities, a sausage in bread and of course a visit from the Jolly man himself!
Cooking activities are a hit with our children! We often make anzac biscuits , scones, easter cookies, pancakes and playdoh. The kids love cooking and learn about measurement, safe cooking, taking turns and teamwork.
